Join travel photographer Derek Antonio Serra on a road trip up the West Coast of the Western Cape to the picturesque village of Churchaven, located in the West Coast National Park. We will overnight in a historical Fisherman's Cottage on the Langebaan Lagoon, and gather around a fire at night to listen to age-old tales of whales and boats told by local residents. We will visit the amazing West Coast Fossil Park (https://fossilpark.org.za) to view 5 million year old fossils, and enjoy game viewing at a local game park. We will shoot several picturesque spots in the West Coast National Park, including the famous Preekstoel rock formation. Opportunities also exist to photograph ostriches and other wildlife, as well as a range of fynbos endemic to this region.

An option also exists to focus on bird photography or photograph a local fashion or art model when doing this trip at an additional cost of R1000 ($100)/person.
